Hit Or Flop? Anupamaa Tops The TRP Charts Again; Kundali Bhagya Regains Second Spot While India’s Best Dancer Slips
Yet another week, but Rupali Ganguly’s show Anupamaa stands rock solid, maintaining its top position in the TRP charts, once again. Even though the charts every week see a lot of shuffling in the lower spots, after major reshuffling this week, the first place is cemented by none other than, Anupamaa. This week, Rupali Ganguly’s show Anupamaa has managed to maintain its position on the top in TRP charts, for the fifth consecutive week this time, according to the latest TRP report from Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), published by Mumbai Mirror.

Anupamaa features Rupali Ganguly playing the titular role, while Sudhanshu Pandey essays the role of her cheating husband, having an extra-marital affair with his work colleague. The present track of the show sees Anupamaa, the loyal wife finally discovering about her cheating husband. Anupamaa becoming a brave woman, finally exposing her husband in front of his family has managed to keep the viewers hooked to see the drama unfold.  While there’s no doubt in what the viewers are enjoying, Kundali Bhagya has regained its spot leaving India’s Best Dancer behind.

Kundali Bhagya starring Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya, that saw a shocking drop in its position last week, is back on the second spot. It was the first time in the last three months that the show slipped to the third spot for a week. As the viewers are enjoying Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya has managed to climb to the third spot. It was previously in fourth place. As India’s Best Dancer, the dance-based reality show had climbed up to the second spot last week and has fallen on the fourth place. Reportedly, it is also lagging by a huge margin and is slipping further down to the fifth place or can even move out of the list. The grand finale of India’s Best Dancer will be held this weekend.

Meanwhile, the longest-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which ruled the rating charts has failed to earn its spot in the top 5 for the past three weeks. The sitcom has finally made a comeback this week but has to still amp up its game to achieve previous ratings. TMKOC did not receive great reviews from fans after the first episode post lockdown aired on television. Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 14 has also not managed to gain a spot in the top 5 in the past weeks.  Also Read: HIT OR FLOP?
